At first you need to save a preset. this generates a tiny png-graphic, that looks exactly like the tile-grid-area, where you draw the wing-pattern (each tile in that area becomes one pixel in the graphic). "load preset" than needs to select such a tiny graphic in order to prefill the grid area with colors.
